Workshop Recap: DIY Flower Crown
What a fun night! Our first ever Plant & Sip Night kicked off with a trendy flower crown workshop in our air conditioned (this heat wave is relentless!) cut flower room. Melissa, our talented floral designer, led this group step-by-step on how to create a flower crown with daisies, wax flower, and of course, our favorite, eucalyptus!
These ladies were a blast! They came so eager and excited to learn. What people don’t realize is how hard flower crown design can be–but these ladies caught on quickly and made it look easy! Check out our photo recap below.

Look at all that eucalyptus!! The ladies brought yummy snacks to chow down on, while Melissa explained to them the first step–creating the wire base for the crown!

Melissa took time with each lady, showing them how to wrap the fresh flowers together!

One thing we learned during this workshop is that patience is key! Creating a masterpiece takes time. Plus, we may have been sidetracked by photos of our pets…!

Almost there!! The final step: putting all the tied pieces of eucalyptus, daisies, and wax flower onto the wire!

Sometimes, our measuring skills can be a little bit off…! But practice makes perfect, right? Here is Melissa adjusting the size of Kelle’s crown so that it fits just right!

And voilà! What a beautiful group of ladies! We could not have asked for a better time–and the children’s garden made for a perfect backdrop to our photoshoot!
