Calathea

Natural Habitat: South America

Water Needs: Let the soil dry out a bit before watering. When the top 1-2 inches of soil is dry, water thoroughly with room-temperature water. Hard water will cause the leaves to burn! Use distilled water, rainwater, or tap water that has been left out overnight.

Light Needs: Indirect sunlight, avoid direct sunlight to prevent foliage from burning

Food Needs: Feed once a month in the summer months with an all-purpose houseplant food (May through September).

Humidity: Prefers a high humidity environment, a pebble tray and misting will benefit this plant.
