Propagating 101 Workshop
Calling all plant lovers! Have you ever wanted to grow your own plant collection without breaking the bank? Then you need to learn about the magical world of propagation!
Propagation by definition is the breeding of specimens of a plant by natural processes from the parent stock. In layman’s terms, creating little baby plants from the parent plant through different mediums, like water or soil! In this workshop, you’ll learn the basics to propagating plants from cuttings! Candy, our master gardener, will walk you through how to propagate and what the different methods are to propagation. Be sure to bring all of your plant propagation questions!!
By going through these key topics you will be equipped with the tools to propagate with plants successfully (and confidently) year round. You’ll walk away from this workshop with your own cuttings to try and propagate at home, along with a mason jar and propagating tray. As always, no green thumb is required!
The workshop fee includes our staff’s instruction, handouts, 3 cuttings to take home, a mason jar and a propagating tray!
