Angelonia (commonly referred to as the Summer Snapdragon) is a series of heat-loving plants that will grow most vigorously and bloom best when the heat is on!! These plants do best when planted in mid-spring or later; they only like to grow when it is hot. They will tolerate "wet feet" (i.e. the soil is a bit too moist) and a moderate amount of drought and dry conditions. No deadheading is required for these summer beauties!
- Light Needs: Full sun. Can tolerate some afternoon shade on hot days.
- Water Needs: Keep evenly moist in well-drained soil.
- Bloom Season: Summer through first frost
- Height: 1 - 2 feet
- Growth Habit: Upright
- Feed lightly once a month during the growing season.
