Barlow's COVID-19 Update
As we’re sure you all know, the Coronavirus is now making its rounds through New Jersey. While this is an uncomfortable time for everyone, we at Barlow’s are doing everything we can to keep our staff and customers protected and healthy, as well as provide our community with the gift of gardening!
We know that as fellow gardeners, spending time in the garden with your plants helps to melt away worries and stress. While we remain open with a limited staff, we are monitoring all notices from the CDC, WHO, and local health organizations and complying with all recommendations. Our florist and gift shop are closed, and we are strictly limiting traffic inside our greenhouse.
We are now offering curbside pickup, as well as continuing our local delivery for all items. We are encouraging all customers to comply with Governor Phil Murphy’s orders to practice social distancing by shopping online as much as possible.
With curbside pickup, place your order through our Online Shop, and select ‘Store Pickup.’ You will be notified once your order is ready for you, and provided with a parking spot number. Simply pull in, find your spot, and grab your plants! There is 0 contact with this new process.
In addition to our new pickup process, we are doing the following:
- Regularly sanitizing all cashier stations, shopping carts, and surfaces
- Practicing social distancing amongst staff & shoppers
- Enforcing that all employees and customers to stay home if they feel sick or ill
In these difficult times, we're working hard to get you your plants and supplies in a safe manner.
We are also temporarily postponing all in-person events until further notice. Whenever possible, we will host our free classes ONLINE via Facebook Live and YouTube. We'll also write blog posts that go over the material as well.
