When using on…
Trees: You will take 1 pound for every inch of of the trunks diameter. When the diameter of the trunk is 3 or more inches, you will triple the quantity.
Shrubs: You will take 1 cup for every foot of branch spread. If the branch spread is larger than 3 feet, double the amount of fertilizer.
Beds: For new beds, you will take 10 pounds of the all natural fertilizer per 100 square feet and mix it in with the top few layers (4 or 5 inches) of soil. For established beds, you will take 5 pounds for every 100 square feet.
Use Espoma Holly-tone® twice a year; one feeding in the early spring, and half of a feeding in the fall.
Make sure you only use Espoma Holly-tone® only on acid loving plants, such as hollies, azaleas, camellias, evergreens, hydrangeas, dogwoods, blueberries, strawberries and rhododendrons.
