Espoma Palm-Tone® promotes superior and healthy growth in tropical plants. This all natural fertilizer contains Bio-tone, which is a blend of microbes added to enhance palms.
You can use this organic supplement on all Palms and Hibiscus.
For Use On…
Established Palms, first calculate the area underneath the branches, then use 3 pounds per 100 square feet, or 1 cup per 10 square feet. Sprinkle evenly around outer edge of branches, and mix into the soil.
New Plants, first dig a hole two times the width of the plant, and the same depth as the root ball. After digging, remove 1/3 the soil and replace it with peat moss, compost, or a high quality planting mix. Mix in 1 cup of Espoma Palm-Tone® into new dirt mix. Once new dirt is mixed and established, place root ball in the hole, and cover with new dirt mix. Cover the new plant with dirt up to the same height it was covered with in its container. Once the plant is in the ground and the dirt is where it should be, water the new plant thoroughly and check soil moisture often to ensure it does not dry out.
For Feeding…
- Very Small Plants: use 1/4 pound, or 3/4 cups of fertilizer.
- Small Plants: use 1/2 pound, or 1 and 1/2 cups of fertilizer.
- Medium Plants: use 1 pound, or 3 cups of fertilizer.
- Large Plants: use 1 and 1/2 pounds, or 4 and 1/2 of fertilizer.
- Use every three months to ensure healthy palm growth.
