Plant-tone is the original plant fertilizer and is made from the finest quality organics available. How to Use:
- Garden Beds: Mix plant-tone into top 4 inches of soil
- Established Plants: 1 cup around drip line of the plant (forming a circle under the plant’s outer leaves). Trees and shrubs: 1 cup for each foot of branch spread (diameter of plant).
- Potted Plants: Mix 1 part Plant-tone to 25 parts soil. Feed established plants 1 teaspoon for each 3 inches of pot diameter. Repeat monthly.
- New Plantings: Mix 1 cup into soil mix. Do not mound the stems. Water and add mulch.
Lawns:
- New lawns: 40 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. into the top 4 inches of soil.
- Established lawns: 20 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. spring, summer and fall
Use Plant-tone on trees and shrubs in the Spring and Fall seasons, and once a month with vegetables and flowers.
